Babies move up a gear in their need for movement and social engagement from about 4-5 months after birth
Our classes change pace to follow the needs of the developing baby and the needs of parents to be more active and have opportunity for healthful movement, easing out, relaxation and centring.
The venue is the Pregnancy and Parents Centre (PPC) in Edinburgh
This is on the Pleasance at EH8 9RT. This venue is fully accessible.
Mats and other yoga equipment are provided at this venue, so you only need to bring whatever you would usually have out and about with baby (spare nappies, clothing, milk if you bottle feed etc) with a muslin or baby blanket you can put under your baby when they are lying down.
Classes run weekly throughout the year
We take just short breaks at the main holiday periods. Class details can be found at this Pregnancy and Parents Centre website page.
Difficulty in paying is no barrier for our classes
The Pregnancy and Parents Centre has guidelines to help with this and are also happy to discuss individual circumstances if these guidelines still prohibit you from attending classes.
Costs for classes can be found under Course Info on this PPC Parent and Baby Yoga page
